Overview

This training is designed for Cycle Trainers who are working as Mentors supporting Bikeability Scotland training in Scottish Local Authorities.It is a one day course which includes both theory and practice.

What skills do I need?

You need experience delivering Bikeabilty Scotland training, must hold a current Cycle Trainer award and be working as a mentor in your local authority to support newly qualified Bikeability Scotland Instructors delivering Level 2 on road training.


How long does it take?

1 day (8 hours)  or 2 shorter days of 4 hours each


What will I need?

A bike in full working order,  a helmet and a notepad and pen and warm/waterproof clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.

 


What will it cost?

This course is free of charge for Cycle Trainers who will be working as Mentors supporting Bikeabilty Scotland Level 2 training in Scottish Local Authorities.
