Overview

The course is very practical and the Trainer uses a mixture of outdoor scenarios to simulate injuries found in a variety of outdoor incidents. During these scenarios, you experience being a first responder and a casualty giving a more rounded learning experience.

This course is suitable for outdoor professionals looking for an NGB recognised certificate and for outdoor enthusiasts looking to equip themselves for their chosen activities.  

Recognised by all UK National Governing Body Awards (ML, WML, MIA, MIC, IML, BMG, MBLA, TCL, BHPA, RYA, BCU, BASI and other sports.) This is the entry level for Ski Patrol, Mountain Rescue and Bike Patrol.

Suitable for anyone working in a remote environment for those who want a ‘hands on’ practical course.

What skills do I need?

No previous first aid experience required.


How long does it take?

2 days (16 hours)


What will I need?

Warm and wet weather clothing, a notepad and pen and willingness to learn
